This Tennessee family was experiencing a musty odor in their living quarters and soon after began to have itchy eyes and sneezing fits. Their neighbor had just gotten their crawl space encapsulated, so they were wondering if that could be the solution to their problem. They called us up and we had an inspector inspect their home. He noted a damp crawl space, high relative humidity, and mold growing (weakening their wood piers.)

Our inspector told them about our encapsulation process and products and they thought it was a great idea.. especially our powerful dehumidifier!

These homeowners have had a problem with temporary standing water in their crawl space for 10 years. This was causing mold to grow on the wood floor joists, which began rotting and weakening it. The homeowners also complained of termites and a soft spot in their floor above. The termites are attracted to soft wood.. wood that is infested with fungi or rotting. And soft spots on wood floors are because the floor joists are no longer supporting the wood floors like they should, mostly due to mold weakening them. 
When the homeowners passed our booth at the Nashville Better Home Expo, they knew they needed to take advantage of our free estimates/inspection deal. 
Our inspector came to their home and inspected everything, and even tested the wood moisture level and relative humidity in the air. After discussing our products that could help their issue, the homeowners were hooked and ready to begin!

Our crew installed our SuperSump Plus, which can pump out over 2,280 gallons of water per hour, as well as the battery operated pump that will kick on automatically in case of a power outage. They also installed CleanSpace Liner, a 20mil thick vapor barrier liner, and CleanSpace Drainage Matting to help trapped water flow to the designated drain. The SaniDry Sedona was installed to keep humidity levels below 55% to help stop the growth of mold. We also installed IceGuard to ensure your space won't flood if your discharge lines become frozen. 

The homeowners now have a dry and healthy crawl space! They love that they no longer have to worry about their wood becoming weaker and that their humidity level is under control! 

This customer in Woodbury, TN needed waterproofing services for their basement and crawlspace. Entering through the basement, we installed CleanSpace on all interior walls, and then leading into the crawl space we completed an encapsulation. This included drainage matting in the crawl space floor after all the debris was removed. After matting was laid down, we encapsulated the crawl space with CleanSpace on the floors, walls, and around the piers. We also added a Sanidry Sedona dehumidifier to pull any moisture from the air. Now the crawl space and basement are waterproofed and the space is usable.
