When this homeowner in Tullahoma, TN, had enough of their dark, cluttered crawl space, they contacted Frontier Foundation & Crawl Space Repair for a solution. With our comprehensive encapsulation system, we worked to help eliminate mold, pests, and humidity from plaguing their crawl space. Starting out, our crew removed debris littered about the space before laying down our CleanSpace vapor barrier. After the space was fully covered, work began to install a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. This powerful piece of equipment keeps the crawl space free of moisture and mold. Finally, SilverGlo insulated panels were installed to improve energy efficiency, as well as a new crawl space door to prevent pests and debris from finding their way in.

Inside the space, our crew found an old, damaged vapor barrier and mold growing on the wooden pillars. To facilitate the flow of water out of the crawl space, drainage matting was rolled out across the dirt floor of the space. After the drainage matting was placed, a CleanSpace vapor barrier was wrapped along the walls and pillars as well as the floor of the crawl space.
