Since the first heavy rainfall after moving in, this Hohenwalk couple noticed their crawl space getting damp, but didn't think much about it. Fast forward a few years and they have major moisture issues. Mold growth began and they were worried about their health!
After seeing our products on our website, they decided to call for a FREE inspection.
Our inspector discussed solutions and products with the couple and they agreed that encapsulating their crawl space and installing a dehumidifier was best for their health and their home's structural foundation.
Products Installed:
Drainage Matting- Crawl space liners rest directly on the crawl space floor. If your crawl space is flooding, water can be trapped underneath, never making it to your perimeter drain. The raised dimples on our CleanSpace Drainage Matting gives the water flooding into your crawl space a channel underneath your crawl space liner.
CleanSpace Liner- 20mil thick, 7-layer polyethylene composition, with polyester cord reinforcement.
EverLast Crawl Space Door- This durable door made of 1/2 PVC plastic has an airtight seal. It is nearly indestrutible so you will never have to worry about it rusting your molding away.
The couple now has a dry and healthy crawl space and could not be happier!
The crawlspace of this Murfreesboro, TN home had high levels of humidity, creating a welcoming environment for mold and other allergens. In the full crawlspace encapsulation, we installed an energy efficient SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. The SaniDry Sedona will keep the moisture levels consistently low, deterring the growth of mold.
The homeowner is happy with their dry crawlspace.
This Tennessee couple was having high humidity and excessive moisture problems in their crawl space. This was causing mold and mold spores to grow, which started to affect the couple's health. They decided to call us based on a friend's recommendation and had us install our encapsulation systems and other products, such as our SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier to keep humidity below 55%.
Along with our encapsulation system, the couple had learned about our EverLast crawl space doors and were intrigued.
Our doors are made from ½-in.-thick PVC plastic that is just about indestructible. Too often, a crawl space door is simply cut from a piece of plywood and secured loosely over the crawl space opening with hinges or screws. Unfortunately, this treatment allows insect and rodent pests to enter the crawl space, along with cold winter air that can make your floors frigid. But no worries, an air, and water seal is certain, thanks to the heavy-duty weatherstripping that comes with each EverLast door.
The couple and the family are so glad to have a healthy crawl space that they know no longer have to worry about!
The owners of this Murfreesboro, TN home were unhappy with their dirty crawlspace. To separate the house form the earth below, we completed a full crawlspace encapsulation- including the CleanSpace vapor barrier and SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier seen here. The homeowners were left satisfied with a job well-done
