Crawl Space Repair Before & After Photos

This customer in Mount Juliet, TN called Frontier due to moisture issues and crawl space support failures. After addressing the sinking crawl space issue with Smart Jacks, we proceeded with waterproofing the crawl space. This project included debris removal of the old vapor barrier and wet insulation between the floor joists. Once the crawl space was cleared, we added Drainage matting to the floors, followed by CleanSpace on the walls, and floors, and wrapped around piers. We sealed the vents with SilverGlo panels and sealed off any air leaks with spray foam insulation and lastly, we installed a SaniDry Sedona to pull any excess moisture from the air. Now they have a healthy, dry, structurally sound crawl space. 

Tim in Mount Juliet, TN, scheduled routine maintenance on his SmartJacks, but our technician found one had shifted due to soil settlement caused by excess groundwater. A full inspection revealed widespread moisture issues, including an unsealed vapor barrier, open vents, mold growth, high water lines, and a failing sump pump.

To restore the space, the Frontier crew installed a perimeter drainage system with a TripleSafe sump pump to manage groundwater. The crawl space was then fully encapsulated with drainage matting and CleanSpace liner, and a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier was added to control humidity and keep the space dry.

This crawl space had mold, rot, and mildew from a water and moisture problem. The homeowners wanted to protect the health of the home and gain the additional storage space from this large area.
