This homeowner was issues with water pooling in their crawl space after every rain fall. The moisture was starting to cause big problems with mold. We know that 50% of the air we breathe come up into our homes from our crawl space or basements. So, this was something the home owner wanted to get fix once and for all.
We here at Frontier Basement systems were very happy they chose us to help them fix these problems. After our design specialist went out and spoke to the homeowner, they were able to come up with a plan. The homeowner decided for his peace of mind that he wanted to go with a complete encapsulation. This would make sure the water, and moisture would stay out for good and would also give him extra storage he did not think he could ever use. An encapsulation stops the flow over air between outside and inside the home, so you do not lose the cool air in the summer and insulates for the winter keeping your warm air in.

This homeowner in Tullahoma, TN, contacted Frontier Foundation & Crawl Space Repair to waterproof their cluttered and damp basement. Once in the basement, our crew noticed multiple wet spots as well as water damage to the wood paneling along the walls. The damp flooring and ruined wall panels were removed, and a CleanSpace wall vapor barrier was applied to the basement walls. This ensures water vapor does not get past your basement walls. A TripleSafe sump pump system, which offers three levels of protection from flooding, was installed to pump out any water. For additional protection against excess humidity, a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier was also installed in the basement.
