This crawl space went from a damp, deteriorating area to a clean, sealed environment equipped to resist water damage and mold. The original setup featured a thin, ineffective liner that did little to keep moisture at bay, leading to visible water stains, mold growth, and a musty smell throughout the area. These humid, unprotected conditions threatened the entire home's crawl space and air quality, making it vulnerable to long-term structural damage and health concerns for homeowners.
Our patented CleanSpace encapsulation system provides a robust solution to prevent future water intrusion and mold growth. This 25-mil-thick liner is far more than just a barrier—it's a protective layer engineered to withstand moisture and resist the conditions that lead to mold, mildew, and wood rot. By fully sealing out humidity and creating a continuous protective barrier, CleanSpace helps keep the crawl space dry and reduces the chance of costly water damage over time.
The CleanSpace liner's bright, clean look doesn't just improve the appearance; it reflects light, giving the crawl space a fresh, open feel and enhancing visibility for future maintenance. This long-lasting system offers peace of mind for homeowners, knowing that their crawl space is now well-protected against water and mold-related issues. It ensures a stable, healthier environment underneath their homes.
This customer in Kingston Springs, TN called Frontier due to moisture issues in their crawl space. To mitigate this issue we cleaned the debris from the crawl space, installed Drainage matting, and sealed off the vents and any other areas where outside air was coming in with SilverGlo panels and spray foam installation. Once that was complete we installed CleanSpace liner throughout the entire crawl space and added a SaniDry dehumidifier to pull any excess moisture from the air. The customer now has a clean and dry crawl space they can use.
At each annual service our service techs run through a thorough check through and cleaning of the pump system. The relative humidity is also checked and in this case was found to be high at 91% causing visible mold, wood rot and mildew. The solution to this humidity was to install a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier, which removes moisture from the air and drains it directly into the existing pump system.
