Crawl Space Repair Before & After Photos

This customer in Erin, TN, called Frontier due to uneven floors and cracks in their home's interior walls. His uneven floors were caused by failing crawl space supports. For this customer, we installed our SmartJack System to support and lift the structure back up. 

CleanSpace encapsulation in Mc Ewen Tennessee.  These homeowners had a high moisture content in their crawl space and their wood was starting to rot.  This is when they reached out to Frontier for a solution.  Frontier installed CleanSpace which keeps the moisture out of the crawl space and home.  A dehumidifier was installed as well and this removed the moisture from the crawl space as well as the wood and without moisture mold cannot grow and wood can’t rot!  Happy customers with a safe home.

As you can see from the photos there was a lot of water in this crawl space. The homeowners were unable to sell their home due to standing water in their crawl space and needed to get this repaired. They contacted us and it was decided that a full encapsulation was the right solution for their home. The white vapor barrier you can see is CleanSpace and is 20 mil thick. This is designed to keep water and moisture out of a crawl space. 

CleanSpace vapor barrier is installed to seal the crawl space from outside air. This includes any structural pillars in the crawl space. This prevents humidity and musty smells in the crawl space. 

This customer in Tuscumbia, AL noticed they had moisture in their crawl space. To address the issue before more damage could be caused, we came out and encapsulated the crawl space. After we cleaned out all the debris, we removed the wet insulation from the rim joists and started the encapsulation process. This included adding drainage matting, CleanSpace, and a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to pull any moisture from the air.
