This customer in Nashville, TN called Frontier when he noticed floor sagging, cracks in walls, and moisture in the crawl space. To mitigate the issue we installed supplemental beams, SmartJack Supports, and Load Bearing SmartJacks throughout the crawl space. For the moisture issues, we added Drainage Matting to the floors, CleanSpace vapor barrier to the Floors and walls, and a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier. The crawl space is now clean, dry, and stabilized.
The EverLast Door is made of 1/2" thick solid polyethylene so it will never rot or need paint. The existing old door frame has been removed and a new pressure treated frame has been installed. The new door is installed on the frame with
rustproof hardware and is weatner-stripped to seal off outside air and dry the crawl space, saving the maximum on heating and cooling bills.
We placed Cleanspace in the Cellar of this customer's home to provide a vapor barrier and insulate the area!
Cracks in the foundation and a buckling roof were the cause for this Nashville families call.
