This homeowner tripped one time too many over their cracked, uneven sidewalk and finally had enough. It was time to level out their concrete slabs, so they didn't have to watch their step anymore!
Our experienced foreman inserted Polylevel into the slab.
The PolyLevel method for lifting and stabilizing a sidewalk or other exterior concrete slab is to inject structural polyurethane foam under the sunken section of concrete. The force of the expanding foam will fill all voids and consolidate weak soils. When the voids are filled, the upward pressure of any additional foam will raise the slab to its original level position.
We also recommend sealing the crack with NexusPro, which is a silicone-based sealant for joints and cracks specially engineered to provide long-lasting flexibility and to stand up to harsh weather conditions. Unlike traditional polyurethane sealants, NexusPro resists UV rays, which means it won't crack, bubble or dry. It fits into homeowners' busy lifestyles, too - drying time is a fraction of that needed for other urethane-based caulking products.
These homeowners in Goodlettsville Tennessee had a massive crack in the walkway leading up to their home. After tripping endless amounts of times, they decided it was time to get this fixed before anyone got hurt. They reached out to Frontier and a design specialist was sent to their home to diagnose the problem. Together with the homeowner it was decided that poly level was the way to go. Beautiful results and no more tripping.
Driveway & sidewalk cracks in addition to the front steps separating from the porch.
Whether it was soil erosion, flooding, unprepared soil, or the cement was just too heavy.. this Tennessee home had a big issue. Their porch had sunk a few inches and caused a massive eyesore. The family was worried about the future value and look of their home, so they called us for the best free solutions!
Our inspector came over and discussed our concrete solutions with them. We use a special foam to lift sunken slabs and this was the perfect product for them. This product is our PolyLevel System and is done by boring small (penny-sized) holes in the slab and using specially designed equipment to inject a structural-grade polymer into the void. After the void is filled, the expanding properties of the polyurethane foam allow for an accurate lift and leveling of the slab. Finally, the small holes are grouted and sealed, and the slab is completely restored.
We also used NexusPro Sealant to seal up their cracks, which is a silicone-based sealant that prevents water ice and dirt from infiltrating the concrete joint and the ground below.
They were so happy to lift and seal their steps and sidewalk and we were thrilled to be able to offer them permanent solutions!
