It is installed below the floor and collects leaking water from the walls. It has an anit-clog design with large inspection ports for easy maintenance.
The wall flange extends up the wall by 3/8" to catch water and direct it into the WaterGuard system and discharge lines.

This customer in Clarksville, TN decided to waterproof his basement because he was experiencing basement problems such as leaky walls, wet floors, and musty smells. This customer in Clarksville, TN had an issue with water coming into her basement every time it rains. She ordered a basement waterproofing system installed in her basement. This included the installation of a WaterGuard XL sub-floor drainage system, a XL Vehicle TrenchDrain, a Drop Down Duct Multi Level Drainage System, IceGuard to prevent floods from clogged or frozen discharge line as well as a LawnScape Outlet to drain water from gutters or drains away from the structure.
We installed the TripleSafe Complete pump system with twin liner, 1/3 HP cast-iron primary AC pump, 1/2 HP cast-iron AC back-up pump, and UltraSump battery back-up pumping system with charging/control box with alarm, and 120 amp sealed maintenance-free battery as well as CleanSpace wall liner on walls up to 8 feet high where indicated and we removed existing insulation in floor joists and hauled off for the customer.
