These Tennessee homeowners were having a big moisture issue in their crawl space. They were getting more and more worried as the days passed, so they called us, Frontier Basement Systems!
One of our trained inspectors out to their home to look around their space, take tests, and then sit down and talk to the homeowners about what kind of shape their space was in and what products we offered that could help them! Our inspector talked all about our encapsulation system and the family fell in love. It was the perfect fit, so we installed everything their space needed to be healthy!
This included our EverLast Crawl Space Door. Our EverLast crawl space doors from Basement Systems are made from ½-in.-thick PVC plastic that is just about indestructible.
Controlling what goes on in your crawl space begins with the crawl space door. Too often, a crawl space door is simply cut from a piece of plywood and secured loosely over the crawl space opening with hinges or screws.
Unfortunately, this treatment allows insect and rodent pests to enter the crawl space, along with cold winter air that can make your floors frigid.
Now that their space is encapsulated and they have the best door protecting their home from moisture and insects, the family can finally sleep peacefully again!
Heavy concrete blocks, such as porches, often shift and sink due to factors such as erosion, flooding, or just because the ground was not properly prepared before cement was poured. This leads to ugly, unwanted cracks that bring down the value of your home!
Luckily, we have the perfect product for that!
NexusPro is a silicone-based sealant for joints and cracks specially engineered to provide long-lasting flexibility and to stand up to harsh weather conditions. Unlike traditional polyurethane sealants, NexusPro resists UV rays, which means it won't crack, bubble or dry. It fits into homeowners' busy lifestyles, too - drying time is a fraction of that needed for other urethane-based caulking products.
We are glad we were able to seal the joints of this porch before severe cracks appeared!
