This Kentucky family was having a problem with standing water in their crawl space. The standing water led to mold growing in their old insulation and it created a mildew odor in the space. The family was worried about the wood beams growing mold and affecting the health of their home's foundation. They called us after looking at our encapsulation process on our website.
Our inspector came to inspect their home and tell them more about our products. After that they were hooked and ready for our crew to start installing our CleanSpace products, SaniDry Sedona dehumidifer, SuperSump pump, and more!
They also made sure we installed our durable crawl space door- The EverLast Door.
Unlike wood crawl space doors, EverLast doors will never warp, crack, shrink or require maintenance or painting. An air and water seal is certain, thanks to the heavy-duty weatherstripping that comes with each EverLast™ door. Once you tighten down the installation knobs, you can feel confident that the interior of your crawl space is protected and fully isolated from exterior critters and conditions.
The family now has a dry crawl space that they no longer have to worry about!

Drafty crawl space doors will not only let the cold air and rain in but protentional also let critters in. Who just love to make nesting out of your insulation. Leaving you with higher heating bills and cold floors, (not good for cold toesies). So this homeowner decided to go with our EverLast CrawlSpace Door.
This customer in Dover, TN called Frontier out to help with a musty and damp crawl space. To control the moisture issues, we cleaned out the crawl space of debris, added Drainage Matting to the floors, CleanSpace Vapor Barrier to the walls and floors, a TripleSafe sump pump, sealed the vents, and installed a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier to pull any excess moisture from the air. We also installed an IceGuard and LawnScape system as well.
This Dover home had some serious moisture issues and the homeowners were tired of worrying about not only the health of their home but their health too, so they decided it was time to call crawl space experts!
Our trained inspector, Robert, greeted them at their home and they told him about their worries. Robert then inspected their crawl space to see what the problems were up close. He noted the soil ground being very moist under the useless and unsealed tarp. This also caused the walls to be damp. The excessive moisture caused mold growth on their wood beams and everywhere in their crawl space. Robert also noted their open crawl space vent. It is very important to have these vents closed and sealed during every season because whether it's moisture, cold drafts, or insects.. you don't want any of it entering the space below your feet.
Robert also took a wood moisture content test and found that the wood had a rating of 52%! This rating means that the wood is decaying and would soon fail if moisture was not reduced immediately.
Robert had the perfect solutions to seal out the excessive moisture and all of the problems it comes with! Our CleanSpace encapsulation system utilizes a 20mil thick liner that has 7 layers of polyethylene composition. It is made to reduce moisture in the crawl space and can also lower energy bills! Our crew installed the system, along with our reliable TripleSafe sump pump and IceGuard product!
The homeowners can now enjoy their new peace of mind and extra storage space!
