Crawl Space Repair Before & After Photos

After a period of heavy rain, this homeowner discovered more than just a large puddle around their home's foundation. Inside, the home's crawl space was completely flooded. Our crew quickly evaluated the situation and started encapsulating the crawl space. A drainage mat to mitigate the flow of water as well as a CleanSpace vapor barrier to keep the space clean. To remove the large amounts of standing water in the crawl space, parts on the older sump pump parts were replaced with new TripleSafe Sump Pump System parts to ensure the unit remains in working order. To combat mold and excess humidity, a Sedona SaniDry dehumidifier was installed, and SilverGlo insulated panels were placed along the walls to keep heat in and cold air out. Finally, the older crawl space door was replaced by an EverLast crawl space door kit.

After the debris and old vapor barrier were removed, drainage matting was rolled out to help with the flow of water out of a crawl space. A CleanSpace vapor barrier was then wrapped along the walls, columns, and floor. This ensures the crawl space will remain free of excess moisture. For additional humidity control, a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier was installed in the crawl space. The dehumidifier will help maintain proper levels of moisture and prevent the growth of mold and wood rot.

We installed Drainage matting, completely covered the crawl space in CleanSpace liner, added a TripleSafe sump pump, sealed off all air leaks and vents, and installed a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. We also added IceGuard and  LawnScape System to drain all water out into the yard away from the home.
