This customer in Smyrna, TN called us for moisture issues in his crawl space. We decided on doing a full crawl space encapsulation. This project included adding drainage matting to the floors, covering the entire crawl space with our CleanSpace liner, and adding a TripleSafe sump pump, a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier, and drainage lines. We also added a LawnScape system that will carry all the water captured out to the yard away from the structure to protect the foundation and a new secure crawl space door.
This crawl space was experiencing an excessive moisture issue and the homeowners had smelled a musty odor. They didn't want to have to worry about the state of their home, so when they saw our ad in Clipper Magazine they called us immediately. Our inspector went out and saw that their crawl space soil ground was very moist. He explained to them how important it was to encapsulate a dirt crawl space to make sure the moisture in the ground stays there and doesn't create mold- which it did already.
