To mitigate the problems, we cleaned up the debris, removed the wet insulation in the crawl space, and treated the mold. After the mold was treated we started on the moisture issues. Often times a black tarp is installed in crawl spaces as a bare minimum requirement for homes. Sometimes, it is all a space needs, but most of the time when there's exposure to excessive moisture extra precautions need to take place!
