This customer in Greenbrier, TN, contacted Frontier to help with support posts that are rotted and fallen over, and the ones left standing were sinking due to inadequate support and moisture issues. This also caused the support beams to sag and the joists to pull away. To mitigate these issues, we installed our SmartJack system.
Kent contacted Frontier for a crawl space inspection at a home on the market in Greenbrier, TN. During the evaluation, the design specialist found signs of moisture problems in the crawl space, including efflorescence on the foundation walls, mold on the floor joists, and a muddy vapor barrier that showed evidence of standing water.
After addressing the moisture issues, the crew encapsulated the crawl space using drainage matting and the CleanSpace® liner system. CleanSpace creates a durable barrier across the crawl space floor and walls, sealing the space from ground moisture and preventing water vapor from evaporating into the home.
