This Portland family wanted to ensure that the storage space provided by their basement remained dry all of the time.
To manage the water that was coming through the walls during times of heavy rains we installed WaterGuard to the bottom of the walls, which captures the incoming water and directs it to the sump pump liner and it is pumped out through the discharge line.
This innovative product sits flush to the floor, and will not clog due to where it is located. There are also inspection ports so that the system can be flushed and checked without any disruption.
Now that the water is intercepted at the point of entry, the basement is nice and dry and items will not be damaged by standing water.
Musty, damp, moldy smells upstairs may be from water in your crawl space. Encapsulating your homes crawl space will help with draft floors, protect the structure of your home, and improve air quality of the home.
From sleeping with the sump pump on rainy nights to a beautiful and healthy living space.

After seeing up to an inch of water in the basement after heavy rains this Nolensville basement needed some TLC. The original stone walls had been covered with wood planking. But years of water damage had left it in bad shape.
Based on the type of foundation and the type of wall a baseboard drainage system like this DryTrak was the best option to provide water management for this basement.
Removing the old rotten planking and providing drainage for future water; this home just added usable square footage, became more attractive, and a healthier environment.
A 1997 home was starting to show sagging and the home owners needed a permanent solution. They had not attempted repairs in the past or professional advice. Worried about the problem getting worse they gave us a call. Smart Jacks are specifically designed to support sagging crawl spaces.
The main purpose of a crawlspace is to provide a space between the foundation and the subfloor to access ducts, pipes and wires.
This home in particular had so much fallen insulation and old dirty liner in the way, there was no easy access to anything. As well as letting the relative humidity within the space increase to levels unsuitable for the crawlspace environment.
With the Cleanspace liner in place with caulking and tape to completely seal the area, and a TripleSafe sump pump to remove any resulting water, we will be able to spray Mold-X2 cleaner to eliminate the mold staining and visual evidence as well as killing 99.99% of germs on the surface.
A rental home in Nashville was in need of solid support.
Unfortunately due to water damage and wood rot the floor joist were slacking on the job. The conditions of the crawl space and the weight of the home had caused serious damage to the supports. Sister joist were ran along the existing joist and supported with a SmartJack. The home owner and the tenants are more comfortable and secure in this home.
