Specialized equipment will be used to inject the polymer foam under the slab to lift and stabilize it.
Repairing cracks in your concrete can prevent more serious problems from developing. Here at Frontier, we use materials that are long-lasting for a more permanent solution.
When concrete fails, the signs can be as obvious as an entire slab that sunk. Or they may be as subtle as tiny spider cracks on the surface. In any case, it's helpful to have a concrete expert examine your home to determine what needs to be done to fix your concrete issues permanently.
In this case, the slabs were a little uneven causing a tripping hazard and the slabs were never sealed together upon installation. These open cracks can cause ugly cracks down the road from water infiltration softening the soil under the slab.
Our crew used PolyLevel foam to lift the settled slabs and NexusPro sealant to seal the cracks.
It's important to seal all cracks before water infiltrates them and they shift and crack more, reducing your home's value.
NexusPro is a silicone-based sealant for joints and cracks specially engineered to provide long-lasting flexibility and to stand up to harsh weather conditions. Unlike traditional polyurethane sealants, NexusPro resists UV rays, which means it won't crack, bubble or dry. It fits into homeowners' busy lifestyles, too - drying time is a fraction of that needed for other urethane-based caulking products.
We installed the CleanSpace crawlspace encapsulation system in this Smyrna, TN home. The homeowner was unhappy with their dusty, dirt-filled crawlspace and called us to come out and provide a free inspection of the space. We recommended an encapsulation of the space to keep it clean and dry. The homeowner was left satisfied with the quality of work that was completed.
