This front porch in Brentwood Tennessee was having some problems with settlement. It was causing an unsightly crack and this is something the homeowners were looking to correct. Frontier sent a design specialist out to their home and together with the homeowners it was decided that PolyLevel injected underneath the slab to lift it back to its original position was the right solution for this home. Beautiful results!
This Tennessee family had a huge tripping hazard and wanted it to get fixed asap before anyone got hurt. Natural earth and soil movement caused the concrete sidewalk to crack and shift. One side of the cracked sidewalk was over an inch above the other and our inspector knew exactly what to do. Our crew raised the slab with PolyLevel, a weightless polyurethane foam, and then sealed together with NexusPro to prevent further cracking.
NexusPro is a silicone-based sealant that was built to stand up to harsh weather conditions. It is also UV ray resistant and won't crack or bubble!

We often see open crawl space vents when doing our inspections. And we always reccomend they be sealed for good! This can either be done inside or outside and takes very little time.
Here is why you should NOT have open vents in your crawl space:
During the winter months, leaving the vents open reduces the energy efficiency of your home by allowing cold air to leak in from the outside. Also, if temperatures routinely drop below freezing, pipes in the crawl space are more likely to freeze if the vents are open.
During the summer, warm and moist air can enter your crawl space from the outside, leading to condensation and water pooling. Since insulation, floor joists and ducts are porous and readily wick water vapor from the air, your crawl space can quickly trap large amounts of moisture.
This makes your crawl space an attractive nesting place for vermin, including termites and other wood-destroying insects.
Just think, you're letting all of the spiders and insects crawl right into your home and live under your floorboards!
If you have open vents, make sure to seal them before more moisture or insects makw their way into your home!
This Tennessee home had an unpleasant looking sidewalk that had shifted and became uneven. This created not only an eyesore and cracks but also a tripping hazard. The homeowners needed help before the cracks got worse and the value of the home decreased.
They called us and we knew exactly what to do!
We started by leveling the concrete with PolyLevel by injecting the foam below the concrete. PolyLevel's lightweight makes it useful where denser fill material might impose an undesirable load on weak soils. Despite its lightweight, PolyLevel can support substantial loads; it typically provides greater lifting power than mudjacking.
We then sealed the cracks where they were previously sealed, but the sealant used had warped and broken off in places allowing water to infiltrate. Unlike traditional polyurethane sealants, NexusPro resists UV rays, which means it won't crack, bubble or dry! NexusPro is a silicone-based sealant for joints and cracks specially engineered to provide long-lasting flexibility and to stand up to harsh weather conditions.
The homeowners now have safe, level, sealed sidewalk.. and most of all a peace of mind!
