This 2005 home started experiencing sinkage about 6 months ago. The family noticed the slab becoming uneven and causing cracks and voids in the stairs. They wanted a permanent fix to the problem at a good cost. They called us and expressed their concerns, they were worried about the sinking getting worse and just wanted peace of mind.
Our crew surveyed the issue and came up with a solution. they would use PolyLevel to lift the sinking slab and NexusPro Joint Sealant to divert surface water away from the joints.
Their porch looks much better and they are happy that they fixed it before it got worse.
This Tennessee family was having a problem with their basement taking on water, as well as dealing with cracks in their walls, which in their case, indicated structural foundation problems.
After being referred to us by their friends, they called us and we set up a free inspection with them!
Our team decided the best solution was to install waterproofing products in their basement to solve the flooding issue.
Waterproofing Products:
WaterGuard
TripleSafe Sump Pump
CleanSpace Wall System (Collects water from the walls and works with the WaterGuard to lead the water to the sump pump. It is also used as a cosmetic fix to ugly stained walls!)
To solve the family's foundation issues we installed the PowerBrace.
The PowerBrace system permanently stabilizes your home's foundation walls. Zinc-plated steel beams are custom-fit to your basement wall height and secured tight against your basement wall with brackets anchored to your basement floor and floor joists. PowerBrace's unique, patented design allows the system to be tightened over time, potentially reversing wall failure without any invasive drilling or digging on the property.
The family is very happy they called us and had our experts take a look. Our products are top of the line and we love when we can show our customers how great they are!
This Tennessee couple has had a leaky crawl space problem since they moved in. Since it leaked every time there was heavy rained, they feared mold would soon grow and did not want any problems that went with it! They needed a company that had quality products and would fix the problem correctly the first time. Their realtor referred us and they scheduled a free inspection asap!
Our inspector suggested our CleanSpace System, SaniDry Sedona, IceGuard, and LawnScape Outlet.
CleanSpace Liner- 20mil thick bright white liner that reduces moisture and vapor in the crawl space.
CleanSpace Drainage Matting- Dimples create an easy channel for trapped water to flow to the designated pump
SaniDry Sedona- Powerful dehumidifier that keeps your crawl space moisture below 55%
LawnScape Outlet- Grated opening is designed to deter leaves, animals, and debris when possible. This lawn outlet system also features a removable lid that allows for cleaning.
The couple agreed that these products were great for their problem and had the project completed right away!
They are now happy that they have peace of mind and no longer have to worry about their crawl space.
This Tennessee homeowner had an excessive moisture problem in his crawl space. He called us Frontier Basement Systems to encapsulate his space. While our inspector was inspecting the home, the homeowner had him do a radon test, just to make sure everything was safe.
If a radon test shows that your home has radon levels around or above 4pCi/l (4 picocuries per liter), it’s important to have a radon mitigation system installed by a professional radon contractor. Without radon mitigation, family members will be exposed to potentially lethal levels of radioactivity in the form of invisible, odorless radon gas.
Health experts sometimes refer to radon as the silent killer, and for good reason. Radon is a naturally-occurring radioactive gas that is emitted from rocks and soil. Radon can be found anywhere on earth, and radon emissions vary based on local geography. Radon can easily enter a building through cracks and gaps in the foundation, mixing with the interior air you breathe every day.
Impossible to see or smell, radon gas can cause cellular changes in lung tissue that eventually lead to lung cancer. Radon exposure is the leading cause of lung cancer after smoking. It kills about 21,000 people in the U.S. every year.
They had radon levels above 4pCi/l, so along with their crawl space encapsulation, they had the Radon Mitigation System installed.
Next to the system is their new and improved EverLast Door. It is made from ½-in.-thick PVC plastic that is just about indestructible (So, it will never crack, warp, rust, or mold!) It also has a moisture and air tight seal to ensure no critters or cold winter air find their way into your crawl space!
Thanks to the Radon Mitigation System this family is breathing in healthier air!
Don’t guess or hope that your house has low radon levels. Get tested so you can cross radon off your list of health risks.
This Tennessee family knew upon moving into their home that they needed to get their crawl space properly encapsulated before any serious foundation issues occurred.
Their crawl space was "encapsulated" but it was a thin material that wasn't sealed correctly, so it wasn't helping seal out the moisture that the soil ground was full of.
They called Frontier and set up a free appointment for an inspection. After our inspector looked around, he discussed with them what he found. The moisture level in their wood supporting joists was getting to the level that most start to see decay appearing. He was glad they called now instead of waiting a few months, because by then they could be experiencing bouncy floors and serious mold growth.
Our inspector talked to the family about how our encapsulation works and what products we use and they were hooked.
Our crew installed these products:
CleanSpace Liner- 20mil thick material that reduces moisture and vapor in the crawl space
Drainage Matting- goes under the liner to become a channel for trapped water to find its way to the designated drain
TripleSafe Sump Pump- has three pumps that automatically change upon need.
EverLast Door- a nearly indestructible door that has an air and moisture tight seal
LawnScape Outlet- has a removable top for easy cleaning and is green to better match your yard
IceGuard- has a perforated top to ensure your space will not flood if your discharge lines become frozen
The family now has a dry and healthy crawl space!
