This basement had wall cracks and was letting water in during hard rains. This made it impossible to use the space for storage.
Solution
The permanent solution was to install four Geo-Lock wall Anchors, these would attempt to straighten the foundation wall at the front of the property and mainly stabilize it from further movement.
From inside the basement the holes are drilled ready for the steel rods to be inserted through the wall and connected to the earth anchor.
The twelve foot rods are jack hammered through the holes and will be secured against the anchor the other side which will provide the tension/support.
Foreman Isai tightens the wall plate finishing the process of stabilizing the wall with the GeoLock Wall Anchor System.
This sticker shows the date of installation and our contact information. The wall anchors should be serviced once a year to ensure that they are sufficiently tight enough and continuing to straighten the wall.
