Crawl Space Entrance
Controlling what goes on in your crawl space begins with the crawl space door. Too often, a crawl space door is simply cut from a piece of plywood and secured loosely over the crawl space opening with hinges or screws.
Moisture Issues
Moisture issues are visible in this crawl space. You can see water lines on the piers and block walls. There is also mud and dirt all over the old vapor barrier and insulation dripping from the floor joists.
Crawl Space Drainage System
StarPipe is a custom-engineered drainage system for crawl spaces. StarPipe's custom design has slots on each side, providing a drainage track on the bottom. StarPipe's unique star shape holds the fabric sleeve in place to prevent dirt from entering drainage slots.
Piers Wrapped and SaniDry Sedona Installed
Piers are wrapped in CleanSpace® poly to create a continuous air and moisture barrier. The SaniDry Sedona is a high-efficiency dehumidifier; the Sedona removes more moisture (100 pints per day) for less electricity cost than conventional models.
CleanSpace Vapor Barrier
Our CleanSpace vapor barrier is fully installed and RimTight. RimTight is a proprietary term for an insulation system used for sealing the rim joists of a home, exclusively offered by authorized Basement Systems dealers. The system uses materials like spray foam or rigid foam board to prevent air leakage and moisture problems at the perimeter of a home's floor system.

Our EverLast™ Crawl Space Doors are created with ½" thick solid plastic, and they will never rust, rot, or need paint. Sturdy knobs allow for easy access and ensure a tight seal for many years to come.
IceGuard and LawnScape System
Water escapes from the IceGuard® fitting only when the discharge line becomes clogged. Otherwise, water flows past the slotted openings into the drain pipe. LawnScape™ is a pipe buried from the downspout to a special LawnScape™ outlet that lets the water out onto the surface while camouflaging the end of the pipe. The lid comes off for easy cleaning. LawnScape™ is best used for downspout extensions over 8' long.
