This customer in Paris, TN, called to report experiencing creaking floors and a part of their kitchen that had risen higher than it was supposed to. They already had the SmartJack system installed, so we adjusted those to stabilize and straighten the floors. To prevent any further downward movement, we also completed a crawl space encapsulation. Keeping the moisture controlled in the crawl space will lessen the chance of weak soil and needing more adjustments in the future.

The SmartJack System

The SmartJack Crawl Space Stabilizer is an adjustable supplemental support system used for sagging crawl spaces. It not only provides supplemental support to your failing structure -- it can also often lift failing floor joists or beams, restoring them to their original position.

This dimpled plastic sheet material promotes good drainage over the entire crawl space floor.

SaniDry Sedona

The Sedona easily fits in small crawl spaces, yet has a powerful blower to effectively dry large crawl spaces. Mold and mildew are common in crawl spaces, but the Sedona keeps the relative humidity below 55%, so mold won't stand a chance.

Air seal and insulate the rim joist

A tremendous amount of heat is lost through the rim joist that rests on your crawl space foundation. We prevent frigid air from leaking in by sealing gaps around the perimeter of your foundation. Then we reduce conductive heat loss by insulating the rim joist with foam insulation.
