This customer in Russellville, KY, called Frontier due to multiple issues they were having. The first part of the project involved stabilizing a failing wall in the basement and installing a PowerBrace system. We then added a Triplesafe sump pump, WaterGuard, and CleanSpace liner. After that, we moved on to the crawl space. In the crawl space, we installed a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier, Drainage matting, and CleanSpace, and sealed the vents with SilverGlo panels. To finish the entire project, we installed our IceGuard and LawnScape drainage system and a new crawl space door.

Failing Wall

Wet clay soils can expand enough to put literally thousands of pounds of pressure on a foundation wall. This can force the walls inwards, sometimes causing them to buckle and crack. Look also for walls pushing in at the bottom or tilting in at the top.

The PowerBrace System

The PowerBrace™ is a patented foundation wall repair system designed to stabilize failing basement walls and also allow for potential straightening over time.

PowerBrace Installation

These steel i-beams will stabilize the wall in its current position without any further adjustment. Over time, the PowerBrace™ System can be tightened to make bowing or tilting walls straighter.

CleanSpace Liner and WaterGuard

After the PowerBrace is installed, CleanSpace is added to the wall and WaterGuard is installed.

Drainage Matting Installed

This dimpled plastic sheet material promotes good drainage over the entire crawl space floor.

TripleSafe Sump Pump

Our most reliable sump pump system, the TripleSafe™ Sump Pump System, provides three levels of protection for your basement or crawl space and your peace of mind. For normal functioning, the TripleSafe™ has a powerful, cast-iron Zoeller® ⅓ horsepower sump pump set at the lowest level. For heavy volumes of water or in case of primary pump failure, a second, more powerful Zoeller® ½ hp pump set a bit higher in the liner will take over.

The SaniDry Sedona

The Sedona easily fits in small crawl spaces, yet has a powerful blower to effectively dry large crawl spaces. Mold and mildew are common in crawl spaces, but the Sedona keeps the relative humidity below 55%, so mold won't stand a chance. As a high-efficiency dehumidifier, the Sedona removes more moisture (100 pints per day) for less electricity cost than conventional models.

New Crawl Space Door

Our EverLast™ Crawl Space Doors are created with ½" thick solid plastic, and they will never rust, rot, or need paint. Sturdy knobs allow for easy access and ensure a tight seal for many years to come.

IceGuard and LawnScape

Water escapes from the IceGuard® fitting only when the discharge line becomes clogged. Otherwise, water flows past the slotted openings into the drain pipe. LawnScape™ is a pipe buried from the downspout to a special LawnScape™ outlet that lets the water out onto the surface while camouflaging the end of the pipe. The lid comes off for easy cleaning. LawnScape™ is best used for downspout extensions over 8' long.
