Addressing moisture concerns was the top priority for this project in Nashville, TN. After stripping the crawl space of debris and the old, ineffective vapor barrier, we moved forward with a full encapsulation system. We installed our StarPipe crawl space drainage system, drainage matting under a durable CleanSpace liner and sealed the vents to manage the humidity. A SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier was added to actively dry the air, and the transformation was completed with the installation of a TripleSafe sump pump.

Crawl Space During Inspection

During the inspection, dust, mud, and debris are all around. Everything will have to be cleaned and removed before the project starts.

StarPipe Installed

StarPipe™ is a custom-engineered drainage system for crawl spaces. StarPipe's™ custom design has slots on each side, providing a drainage track on the bottom. StarPipe's™ unique star shape holds the fabric sleeve in place to prevent dirt from entering drainage slots.
