The space was encapsulated with CleanSpace 20-mil vapor barrier.

Symptoms of Destabilization
Larry in Brentwood, TN, reached out to Frontier after noticing drywall cracks spreading from the corners of doors and windows. When our Design Specialist inspected the home, they found the floor sloping by ¾ of an inch.

Shimming
Inside the crawl space, the homeowner had tried to shim the supports to help level the floor, but it wasn't providing the stability the home needed.
Wood Moisture Content
Inside the crawl space, the wood moisture content measured 16%. Encapsulation was recommended to protect the space and prevent future damage from humidity.
