This customer in Franklin, TN, called Frontier due to moisture and mold issues in their crawl space. To start the project, we cleaned out all the moisture-soaked debris and treated the mold. To fix the moisture issues, we completed a complete crawl space encapsulation. This process began with the installation of our drainage matting, a CleanSpace liner, sealing the crawl space vents, and installing our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. We finished this project by installing a new EverLast crawl space door.

Mold Growth

Moisture in this crawl space has allowed mold to begin growing on the wooden floor joists and within the insulation. This mold will need to be treated, and the insulation will need to be removed.

Old Crawl Space Door

This old wooden crawl space door is not secure. It allows moisture, bugs, and pests to enter the crawl space.

Crawl Space During Inspection

Moisture, mold and falling, failing insulation are problems in this crawl space, which hasn't been properly sealed. The encapsulation treatment totally separates and protects the crawl space interior from outdoor conditions, keeping the space clean and dry.

Debris Removed

All of the moisture-soaked debris has been removed from the crawl space, allowing the project to start.

Drainage Installation Complete

This dimpled plastic sheet material promotes good drainage over the entire crawl space floor. Water will flow under it, never entering the sealed crawl space.
