Justin L. in Richmond, KY, contacted Frontier Foundation & Crawl Space Repair to address moisture issues in the crawl space of an apartment complex. Water was seeping in through the foundation vents, leading to moisture in the crawl space. To manage the water intrusion, our team installed five TripleSafe single-pump systems, each equipped with a cast-iron 1/3 HP pump, twin pump liner, airtight lid with floor drain, and CleanPump stand. Each system also includes a WaterWatch® alarm to alert the property owner of any potential pump failures. For moisture control, Frontier installed CleanSpace 20-mil high-performance moisture barrier on the crawl space floor with CleanSpace Drainage Matting beneath. A Crawl Space Drainage System and CleanSpace wall liner were also added to fully encapsulate and protect the space. The drainage lines and sump pumps were discharged on both sides of the building through IceGuards and LawnScape outlets to ensure proper water flow and freeze protection. To regulate humidity and air quality, a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier and air filtration system was installed. Frontier also ran new circuits for the dehumidifier and pump systems to ensure reliable operation.
