Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Crawl Space Repair in Mount Juliet, TN

This customer in Mount Juliet, TN, called Frontier due to moisture and mold issues in their crawl space. To start the project, we cleaned out all the moisture-soaked debris and treated the mold. To mitigate the moisture issues, we completed a complete crawl space encapsulation. This process began with the installation of drainage matting, a CleanSpace liner, sealing the crawl space vents, and installing our TripleSafe sump pump and SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. We finished this project by installing an IceGuard and LawnScape drainage system and a new EverLast crawl space door.

Crawl Space During Inspection

Moisture, mold and falling, failing insulation are problems in this crawl space, which hasn't been properly sealed. The encapsulation treatment totally separates and protects the crawl space interior from outdoor conditions, keeping the space clean and dry.

Water Damage

Water can be seen seeping through the foundation walls. The water line is visible on the bottom of the wall. Dust and debris are also seen. This will all be removed before the project begins.

Drainage Matting Installed

Drainage matting has been installed. This dimpled plastic sheet material promotes good drainage over the entire crawl space floor. CleanSpace has also been installed on the walls.

Piers Wrapped with CleanSpace

After the Drainage is installed, the piers are wrapped in CleanSpace® poly to create a continuous air and moisture barrier.

The SaniDry Sedona
