During our inspection, we found that the crawl space beams were unsupported, the sump pump was outdated, and there was standing water. The wood in the floor beams had a moisture content of 26.5%, which can lead to serious structural issues if left untreated. To stabilize the home, our crew installed two HSS Cut-Off Supplemental Beams and five SmartJacks. We also shimmed the existing columns to meet code requirements and added a joint assist bracket for extra support. To help control moisture, we replaced the old sump pump with a TripleSafe Liner that includes an Air-Tight Lid Kit and WaterWatch Alarm to detect plumbing leaks. We finished by installing an M63 1/3 HP Upgraded Pump and extending the discharge line to keep water moving away from the home.
