Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Crawl Space Encapsulation in Linden, TN

This customer in Linden, TN, called Frontier due to moisture issues in his crawl space. To mitigate the issue, we completed a crawl space encapsulation. This included installing Drainage matting, CleanSpace liner, a TripleSafe sump pump, and SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. We also sealed the crawl space vents with SilverGlo panels. We finished this project with an IceGuard and LawnScape drainage system and a new EverLast crawl space door.

Crawl Space During Inspection

Moisture, mold and falling, failing insulation are problems in this crawl space, which hasn't been properly sealed. The encapsulation treatment totally separates and protects the crawl space interior from outdoor conditions, keeping the space clean and dry.

Drainage Matting Installed

This dimpled plastic sheet material promotes good drainage over the entire crawl space floor.

Piers Wrapped

Piers are wrapped in CleanSpace® poly to create a continuous air and moisture barrier.

An Escape Route

Water escapes from the IceGuard® fitting only when the discharge line becomes clogged. Otherwise, water flows past the slotted openings into the drain pipe.
