This customer in Greenbrier, TN, called us for moisture issues in his crawl space. The moisture was causing the support beams to sink, resulting in unlevel floors. To address the sinking supports, we installed our SmartJack support system and then proceeded to mitigate the moisture issues. We cleaned out all the moisture-soaked debris, sealed the vents with SilverGlo panels, installed our StarPipe crawl space drainage system, drainage matting on the floors, a CleanSpace vapor barrier, and a TripleSafe sump pump. We finished the project with an IceGuard and Lawnscape drainage system and a new secure EverLast crawl space door.

Failing Crawl Space Supports

The crawl space piers are starting to fail; you can see the tilt of this pier. This will lead to sagging floors, cracks in the home interior, and more structure damage if not addressed.

Water Damage

As you can see in this photo, water is seeping through the foundational concrete block wall. If not addressed, this will lead to musty smells, mold and mildew, and structural damage to the home's foundation.

StarPipe™ Installation

StarPipe™ is designed to be an easily installed conduit to accept water from the soil and surface of perimeter walls of your crawlspace and drain to a sump system, allowing the water to quickly evacuate from the crawlspace or from under the crawl space floor.

Drainage Matting

This dimpled plastic sheet material promotes good drainage over the entire crawl space floor. Water will flow underneath this matting and stay out of the enclosed crawl space.

TripleSafe Sump Pump

Our most reliable sump pump system, the TripleSafe™ Sump Pump System, provides three levels of protection for your crawl space and your peace of mind. For normal functioning, the TripleSafe™ has a powerful, cast-iron Zoeller® ⅓ horsepower sump pump set at the lowest level. For heavy volumes of water or in case of primary pump failure, a second, more powerful Zoeller® ½ hp pump set a bit higher in the liner will take over.

IceGuard and LawnScape System Installation

Water escapes from the IceGuard® fitting only when the discharge line becomes clogged. Otherwise, water flows past the slotted openings into the drain pipe. LawnScape™ is a pipe buried from the downspout to a special LawnScape™ outlet that lets the water out onto the surface while camouflaging the end of the pipe. The lid comes off for easy cleaning. LawnScape™ is best used for downspout extensions over 8' long.
