Trench Dug
A trench is dug around the perimeter of the basement to prepare for the placement of the subfloor drainage system.

Weep Holes
Weep holes are drilled at the bottom of the blocks to drain the hollow cavities of any water.

WaterGuard Installation
Our most popular drainage system, WaterGuard® is the ideal solution for most basement waterproofing applications. Unlike old-fashioned drain tile systems installed on the outside of the home, WaterGuard® is installed just underneath the perimeter edge of the basement floor.

WaterGuard Placed
After the trench is dug and the WaterGuard is placed, a thin layer of CleanSpace liner is placed on top.

CleanSpace Vapor Barrier
CleanSpace vapor barrier is installed on the basement wall. Like our other wall systems, it can hold back water vapor passing through your foundation walls, directing it to your sump pump. With anti-microbial protection called UltraFresh built right in, no mold or mildew will grow on the CleanSpace!

TripleSafe Sump Pump
Our most reliable sump pump system, the TripleSafe™ Sump Pump System, provides three levels of protection for your basement and your peace of mind. For normal functioning, the TripleSafe™ has a powerful, cast-iron Zoeller® ⅓ horsepower sump pump set at the lowest level. For heavy volumes of water or in case of primary pump failure, a second, more powerful Zoeller® ½ hp pump set a bit higher in the liner will take over.

WaterGuard Installation Complete
After all the waterproofing products are added, a thin layer of cement is applied over the WaterGuard system and around the sump pump.

IceGuard and LawnScape
Water escapes from the IceGuard® fitting only when the discharge line becomes clogged. Otherwise, water flows past the slotted openings into the drain pipe. LawnScape™ is a pipe buried from the downspout to a special LawnScape™ outlet that lets the water out onto the surface while camouflaging the end of the pipe. The lid comes off for easy cleaning. LawnScape™ is best used for downspout extensions over 8' long.

IceGuard® Discharge Line Protection
Many sump pump discharge lines are susceptible to freezing during the cold winter months. Our IceGuard® discharge line protection prevents this from happening, with no need for the homeowner to do anything! This specifically designed grated adapter is located outside where the discharge line exits the house. If the pipe underground freezes in the winter, water can still be pumped out without the worry of backups into your basement!

Drainage Lines Buried
The IceGuard and LawnScape have been connected and installed and are now buried. It is flush with the ground, so it won't interfere with any lawn maintenance.
