This customer in This customer in Springfield, TN, called Frontier to help with sinking crawl space supports and a water intrusion issue in the crawl space. After draining excess water out, we started on the project. To address the structural issues we installed our SmartJack system to stabilize the floor. After that, we added our StarPipe crawl space drainage system and TripleSafe sump pump. We finished the project by installing an IceGuard and LawnScape system.

Installation of Sump Pump and Drainage System

The sump pump is put in place and the StarPipe is installed around the perimeter of the crawl space to drain into the sump pump.

StarPipe™ is a custom-engineered drainage system for crawlspaces. StarPipe's™ custom design has slots on each side, providing a drainage track on the bottom. StarPipe's™ unique star shape holds the fabric sleeve in place to prevent dirt from entering drainage slots.

StarPipe™ is designed to be an easily installed conduit to accept water from the soil and surface of perimeter walls of your crawlspace and drain to a sump system, allowing the water to quickly evacuate from the crawlspace.

TripleSafe Sump Pump Installed

Our most reliable sump pump system, the TripleSafe™ Sump Pump System, provides three levels of protection for your basement and your peace of mind. For normal functioning, the TripleSafe™ has a powerful, cast-iron Zoeller® ⅓ horsepower sump pump set at the lowest level. For heavy volumes of water or in case of primary pump failure, a second, more powerful Zoeller® ½ hp pump set a bit higher in the liner will take over.

IceGuard and LawnScape

Water escapes from the IceGuard® fitting only when the discharge line becomes clogged. Otherwise, water flows past the slotted openings into the drain pipe. LawnScape™ is a pipe buried from the downspout to a special LawnScape™ outlet that lets the water out onto the surface while camouflaging the end of the pipe. The lid comes off for easy cleaning.
