Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Crawl Space Encapsulation in Ardmore, AL

This homeowner in Ardmore, AL, contacted Frontier Foundation & Crawl Space Repair to have their home's crawl space evaluated. During the inspection, our technician discovered mold as well as rotten, damp wood. After evaluating the space, we recommended having the entire crawl space encapsulated. On site, our crew began to remove the older vapor barrier from the space. Around the perimeter, we dug a drainage trench to hold the EZ-Flow drainage tubing. Across the dirt floor, we rolled out our drainage matting to help facilitate the flow of water into the EZ-Flow tubes. We installed our TripleSafe sump pump system in the lowest section of the crawl space, allowing the water inside the EZ-flow tubes to flow down into the pump system. This system then pushes the water out and away from the crawl space. To control the high levels of moisture in the space, we installed our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. Finally, we closed off the space with our EverLast crawl space door. Now, this homeowner can rest easy, knowing their crawl space is protected against moisture.
