Soil contains moisture from the earth that will evaporate, rise, and create condensation when the humid air hits a cooler surface, such as a cool air ducts. When condensation occurs, mold will grow on organic surface, such as the wooden foundation, causing deterioration, and musty smells to enter your home. Yuck!
