A customer in Humboldt, TN, called Frontier due to a sagging crawl space floor caused by moisture issues. We chose crawl space encapsulation to address the moisture and SmartJacks to stabilize the unlevel floors. Once we stabilized the structure with our SmartJack system, we began the encapsulation process. This included installing a TripleSafe sump pump, our Drainage matting, CleanSpace liner, sealing the crawl space vents, and a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier.

Crawl Space During Inspection

During the inspection standing water is clearly visible. Water intrusion is causing damage like mold, mildew, rotting floor joists, and sagging crawl space floors.

Water is seeping through the concrete block walls, as you can see by the water line that is clearly visible in the photo.

Unlevel Floors

The moisture in the crawl space is causing the floor to sag, which is causing the floors in the home to become unlevel. SmartJacks will help to lift these floors back up.
