Relative Humidity
The relative humidity in this space is above the recommended threshold of 60%, where mold thrives.
Falling Insulation
Unmanaged moisture and open vents caused a high-humidity environment. Insulation absorbs the humidity and becomes heavy, falling out of place.
Wet Liner
The existing liner had wet areas on top and was allowing moisture to come through.
Drainage System
To manage water intrusion under the home, a drainage line was installed along the perimeter of the crawl space.
Sump Pump Installation
The sump pump is surrounded by gravel to prevent dirt and debris from entering while water can flow through.
Drainage Matting
Drainage matting is installed to allow water to flow under the CleanSpace liner towards the drainage system.

The TripleSafe Sump Pump with battery backup removes water from the drainage line and expels it outside the home.
