How foundation helical pier systems work
Foundations will experience settlement issues when the soils below the house prove unable to support the weight of the structure. Helical pier systems create a solid supporting base that transfers the weight of your home downwards to strong supporting soils.
Helical piers
Helical piers are mechanically advanced into the soil using small construction or hand equipment. As they are installed to appropriate depths and capacities, they prevent any future settlement issues.
Helical Pier Anchors
In many scenarios, these foundation piers will be able to lift your home back to a level position by the completion of the installation.
When to use foundation helical piers
With knowledge of local soil conditions, helical piers can be an ideal solution because the installing contractor will know exactly how deep to install the piers to reach a stable soil layer that can support your home.
Drainage Matting Installed
Drainage matting forms a permanent seal for leaking crawl space floors.
CleanSpace Installed
One key ingredient in our encapsulation system is the CleanSpace® vapor barrier, a super-durable 20-mil plastic sheet designed to permanently prevent moisture, outside air, and pests from entering your crawl space.
The SaniDry Sedona
Mold and mildew are common in crawl spaces, but the Sedona keeps the relative humidity below 55%, so mold won't stand a chance. As a high-efficiency dehumidifier, the Sedona removes more moisture (100 pints per day) for less electricity cost than conventional models.
Piers Wrapped
Piers are wrapped in CleanSpace® poly to create a continuous air and moisture barrier.
Crawl Space Sealed
Crawl space sealing and insulation will help you avoid unnecessary repairs, create a healthier living space, and save money on your utility bills. And once you've encapsulated your crawl space with a vapor barrier, you've gained valuable storage space in your home.
