Existing Crawl Space Door
The crawl space door at the home did not create a seal and allowed humid air to enter and create an environment for mold to grow.
Before Encapsulation
Despite treating the mold in the crawl space, the space was not protected long term. Moisture appears to be entering at the bottom of the foundation wall.
Relative Humidity
Relative Humidity over 60% creates an environment where mold can grow. To protect this crawl space, Frontier will seal and dehumidify the space.
Drainage System
A drainage system was installed in the crawl space to collect moisture that enters from the foundation wall.
Drainage Matting Installation
Drainage matting was installed beneath the CleanSpace barrier to allow water to move laterally towards the drainage system.
SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier
To protect the floor joists and boards from mold, a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier is installed to ensure relative humidity remains under 60%.
CleanSpace Encapsulation
CleanSpace liner is installed along the floor, piers, and walls of the crawl space to seal the space off from ground moisture.
TripleSafe Sump Pump
The TripleSafe Sump Pump collects water from the drainage systems and discards it outside of the home.
EverLast Door
An EverLast Door is installed to replace the previous crawl space door. The EverLast Door creates a seal and prevents humid air from entering.
Water Drainage
The TripleSafe sump pump sends water outside the home through an IceGuard and LawnScape outlet placed downhill from the crawl space.
