Mold on Wood Floor Joists
Much like the basement, the nature of your crawl space lends itself to moisture issues and mildew growth. Crawl spaces are dark and often damp due to moisture from the ground or other causes. Mold forms essentially wherever oxygen and moisture are present, so it's no surprise that crawl spaces can become a breeding ground for mold.
Soda Blasting
Sodium Bicarbonate is a granular powder that is non-toxic, food grade, with no vapors or offgassing. It is blown with air at high pressure at the infected lumber. The mold is blown off without damaging the lumber, and falls to the floor. The mold is killed by the blasting action and the soda instantly changes the ph, so what falls is not active mold, but simply inert dust.
After Mold Treated
After soda blasting the lumber looks almost like new. The mold and it's negative effects are gone. And with the CleanSpace system and Sedona dehumidification system the conditions for mold to grow will not return. Our customers love the results from soda blasting and the CleanSpace system!

StarPipe Crawl Space Drainage System
StarPipe™ is a custom-engineered drainage system for crawl spaces. StarPipe's™ custom design has slots on each side, providing a drainage track on the bottom. StarPipe's™ unique star shape holds the fabric sleeve in place to prevent dirt from entering drainage slots.

SaniDry Sedona Installation
The Sedona easily fits in small crawl spaces, yet has a powerful blower to effectively dry large crawl spaces. Mold and mildew are common in crawl spaces, but the Sedona keeps the relative humidity below 55%, so mold won't stand a chance. As a high-efficiency dehumidifier, the Sedona removes more moisture (100 pints per day) for less electricity cost than conventional models.

Water escapes from the IceGuard® fitting only when the discharge line becomes clogged. Otherwise, water flows past the slotted openings into the drain pipe. LawnScape™ is a pipe buried from the downspout to a special LawnScape™ outlet that lets the water out onto the surface while camouflaging the end of the pipe. The lid comes off for easy cleaning.
