A homeowner in Mayfield, KY, contacted Frontier to address moisture and encapsulation needs in their crawl space. We began the project by clearing out all existing debris. Next, we installed our comprehensive waterproofing and encapsulation system, including SilverGlo insulation panels to seal the vents, drainage matting, our antimicrobial CleanSpace vapor barrier liner, a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier, and a TripleSafe sump pump system. To complete the exterior drainage and secure the space, we added IceGuard, a LawnScape discharge line, and a durable, secure new crawl space door.

Water Damage

StarPipe Crawl Space Drainage System

StarPipe™ is a custom-engineered drainage system for crawl spaces. StarPipe's™ custom design has slots on each side, providing a drainage track on the bottom. StarPipe's™ unique star shape holds the fabric sleeve in place to prevent dirt from entering drainage slots.

The SaniDry Sedona

An Escape Route

Water escapes from the IceGuard® fitting only when the discharge line becomes clogged. Otherwise, water flows past the slotted openings into the drain pipe.

LawnScape Installed

LawnScape™ is a pipe buried from the downspout to a special LawnScape™ outlet that lets the water out onto the surface while camouflaging the end of the pipe. The lid comes off for easy cleaning. LawnScape™ is best used for downspout extensions over 8' long.
