Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Commercial Crawl Space Repair in Paducah, KY

A commercial client in Paducah, KY, called Frontier for a crawl space encapsulation in the crawl space of a large school. We started this project by cleaning out all the debris in the crawl space. Then we installed our waterproofing products, including SilverGlo panels to seal the vents, Drainage matting, CleanSpace liner, a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier, and, to finish this project, we installed a new secure crawl space door.

Moisture Issues

Moisture issues in this crawl space has allowed mold to start to grow on the wood floor joists. If the moisture is not addressed, mold will continue to grow and lead to the rotting of this wood and damage to the subfloor.

Crawl Space Damage

Moisture, mold and falling, failing insulation are problems in this crawl space, which hasn't been properly sealed. The encapsulation treatment totally separates and protects the crawl space interior from outdoor conditions, keeping the space clean and dry.

The SaniDry Sedona

Mold and mildew are common in crawl spaces, but the Sedona keeps the relative humidity below 55%, so mold won't stand a chance. As a high-efficiency dehumidifier, the Sedona removes more moisture (100 pints per day) for less electricity cost than conventional models.
