This customer in Smiths Grove, KY, called Frontier due to moisture issues in their crawl space. We decided on a crawl space encapsulation to address the moisture. This included installing our Drainage matting, CleanSpace liner, a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier, and SilverGlo panels to seal the crawl space vents. We completed the project with a new crawl space door.

Crawl Space During Inspection

During our inspection of the crawl space moisture dame can be seen. Water is seeping out of the bottom of the concrete block walls. The vapor barrier that is in place is not controlling the moisture issues.

CleanSpace During Installation

One key ingredient in our encapsulation system is the CleanSpace® vapor barrier, a super-durable 20-mil plastic sheet designed to permanently prevent moisture, outside air, and pests from entering your crawl space.

Installation Process

During installation the CleanSpace is laid out over the drainage matting and attached to the walls of the crawl space. After it is in place will will tape down any overlapping areas to make sure there is a tight seal and no outside air is getting in.

Crawl Space Sealed

The encapsulation treatment totally separates and protects the crawl space interior from outdoor conditions, keeping the space clean and dry.
