A customer in Cadiz, KY, called Frontier due to sagging floors and moisture issues. We decided on a crawl space encapsulation and SmartJacks to stabilize it. Once the structure was stabilized with our SmartJack system, we started the encapsulation process. This included installing our SmartPipe Crawl Space drainage system, Drainage matting, CleanSpace liner, a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier, and a TripleSafe sump pump. We finished the project with an IceGuard and LawnScape System.

StarPipe Crawl Space Drainage System

StarPipe™ is a custom-engineered drainage system for crawl spaces. StarPipe's™ custom design has slots on each side, providing a drainage track on the bottom. StarPipe's™ unique star shape holds the fabric sleeve in place to prevent dirt from entering drainage slots.

StarPipe™ is designed to be an easily installed conduit to accept water from the soil and surface of perimeter walls of your crawl space and drain to a sump system, allowing the water to quickly evacuate from the crawl space.

Crawl Space Vapor Barrier Insulated

One key ingredient in our encapsulation system is the CleanSpace® vapor barrier, a super-durable 20-mil plastic sheet designed to permanently prevent moisture, outside air, and pests from entering your crawl space.

IceGuard Installed

Water escapes from the IceGuard® fitting only when the discharge line becomes clogged. Otherwise, water flows past the slotted openings into the drain pipe.

LawnScape Installed

LawnScape™ is a pipe buried from the downspout to a special LawnScape™ outlet that lets the water out onto the surface while camouflaging the end of the pipe. The lid comes off for easy cleaning. LawnScape™ is best used for downspout extensions over 8' long.
