Falling Insulation
Insulation absorbs moisture in the air and becomes heavy, falling out of place.
Mold Growth
Mold was growing on the floor joists. Without intervention, this mold can weaken the joists and require floor supports to be installed.
Moisture Intrusion
Efflorescence is a white, chalky substance left behind when water evaporates from the foundation blocks into the space.
Debris Removal
The old vapor barrier and fallen insulation are removed from the crawl space to provide a clean slate for the encapsulation.
Drainage Matting Installation
Drainage matting is installed to protect the liner from potential punctures during crawl space maintenance and allow moisture to move underneath the system.
CleanSpace Encapsulation
The Frontier crew installs CleanSpace liner on the floor, walls, and piers of the crawl space so moisture from the walls and floor of the space cannot evaporate and increase humidity.
Sealing the CleanSpace
The crew carefully seals the CleanSpace liner using a specialized sealant to help create a continuous moisture barrier and prevent humid air or moisture from escaping through gaps, seams, or cracks.
Vent Sealing
Vents are sealed with SilverGlo insulation panels and RimTite insulation.
EverLast Door
The EverLast door is custom-cut to fit the crawl space opening. The door seals the space at the opening, preventing humid air from entering.
