Michael in Springfield, TN, was referred to Frontier by another contractor who had noticed signs of moisture in his crawl space. During the inspection, the design specialist found mold growth throughout the space and evidence of moisture intrusion on the foundation block. Encapsulation was recommended to stop the mold growth and seal the space from further moisture intrusion. The Frontier crew cleared debris and insulation from the crawl space to prepare for the work. They laid drainage matting across the floor, then wrapped the floor, piers, and walls with CleanSpace liner to isolate the space from ground and wall moisture. A SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier was installed to manage humidity long-term. A new door frame was built at the crawl space entrance, and an EverLast Door was installed to seal the space from humid outside air.
