Drainage System Installation
A drainage system was installed around the perimeter of the crawl space to direct intruding water towards the sump pump for removal.
Standing Water
Moisture was accumulating near the edges of the crawl space, contributing to high humidity levels.
Drainage Matting Installation
Drainage matting is installed underneath CleanSpace liner to allow water to move towards the drainage system.
Relative Humidity Measurement
An RH reading over 60% allows enough moisture for mold to grow and attracts pests to the space. This crawl space had an RH of 84%.
Crawl Space Entrance
This below-grade crawl space entrance increases the likelihood that water will collect and enter through it.
SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier
Due to elevated relative humidity, a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier was installed to help maintain humidity below 60%, reducing the risk of mold growth, wood rot, and pest activity in the crawl space.
CleanSpace Liner
Frontier's skilled crews encapsulate around barriers such as HVAC ducts and pipes. The entire ground, piers, and walls are sealed, bringing the crawl space into the envelope of the home.
Drainage Line
Water from the sump pump is directed outside the home and exits the LawnScape Outlet. The IceGuard at the beginning of the line allows water to escape in the event of a blockage.
TripleSafe Sump Pump
The TripleSafe sump pump system can remove more than 3,000 gallons of water per hour from the crawl space. Its built-in battery backup helps ensure the system continues operating during a power outage, providing protection when heavy storms and rising water levels are most likely to occur.
