Anthony in Gallatin, TN, contacted Frontier after noticing signs of moisture in his crawl space. During the inspection, the design specialist found a traditional liner that did not fully cover the ground, leaving exposed soil that allowed moisture to move freely into the space. This excess moisture had already caused damage, with large sections of insulation falling from the ceiling. A compromised floor joist was also identified, indicating the beginning stages of structural impact. To restore and protect the crawl space, the Frontier crew first sistered the damaged joist to reinforce the structure. They then installed drainage matting across the floor to help manage ground moisture before encapsulating the space with the CleanSpace® liner, sealing it from outside air and humidity. A SaniDry™ Sedona dehumidifier was added to control moisture levels long-term and maintain a dry environment. Finally, an EverLast™ crawl space door was installed to fully seal the space and prevent outside air and water from re-entering.
