Existing Crawl Space Door
The existing crawl space door failed to create a seal on the space, allowing water and moisture inside.
Falling Insulation
Insulation had absorbed moisture in the crawl space, making it heavy and out of place.
Removing Insulation and Debris
Before beginning the project, the Frontier crew removed the insulation and debris from the crawl space.
Sistering Joists
Moisture had begun to compromise some of the floor joists in the crawl space. To address this, the Frontier crew sistered the affected joists, reinforcing them and restoring the structural strength of the floor system.
SmartJack Installation
SmartJacks lift and stabilize floor joists under the home. This is important when piers have sunk and removed support from the floor.
Drainage Matting
Drainage matting is installed beneath the CleanSpace liner, allowing water to move laterally underneath the system and be directed away from the crawl space.
CleanSpace Encapsulation
CleanSpace liner seals off the floor, piers, and walls of the crawl space, blocking moisture from entering the space.
SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier
The crew installed a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to ensure the space remains dry long-term.
EverLast Door
Frontier's EverLast Door is fit custom to the crawl space entrance of the home. It seals off the space, preventing humid air and water from entering.
Frontier Electrician
Frontier's onsite electricians ensure homeowners have a power source for sump pumps and dehumidifiers under the home.
