Efflorescence on Foundation Wall
The white, chalky substance on the foundation walls is a sign of moisture intrusion. Hydrostatic pressure pushes water through the block, and as it evaporates into the crawl space, it leaves mineral deposits behind.
Standing Water
Standing water is often found near the perimeter of the crawl space where the ground dips toward the foundation.
Drainage System Trench
The Frontier crew digs a trench around the entire perimeter of the crawl space to ensure the drainage system is set to collect incoming water.
Drainage System Installation
The drainage system is custom-fit to the crawl space and installed along the perimeter to manage water intrusion.
Drainage Matting Installation
Drainage matting is installed underneath CleanSpace liner. It's custom-fit to the home's crawl space and allows water to flow laterally towards the drainage system.
Completed Encapsulation
Encapsulation was completed with CleanSpace liner, which covers the walls, floor, and piers of the crawl space.
1/2 TripleSafe Sump Pump
The drainage system flows towards the TripleSafe sump pump. The battery backup ensures the pump continues to operate during power outages.
2/2 TripleSafe Sump Pump
Due to the size of the crawl space, this home needed two TripleSafe sump pumps.
SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier
The SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier removes humidity from the crawl space, preventing mold growth.
IceGuard and LawnSpace Outlet
"The TripleSafe sump pump discharges water through the IceGuard, allowing it to escape even if the line becomes clogged or frozen before reaching the LawnScape Outlet.
