During the inspection, the design specialist found the foundation was structurally sound, but moisture in the crawl space had caused the soil to soften, leading piers to sink and leaving some beams without proper support. To stabilize the floors, SmartJacks were installed in three sections of the crawl space. The crew removed existing mold with soda blasting, then installed a drainage system connected to a TripleSafe sump pump with battery backup to manage water intrusion. Drainage matting was installed along the floor, with a CleanSpace liner installed over the floors, piers, and walls to encapsulate the space. A SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier was added to control humidity long term, and an EverLast crawl space door was installed to help seal the space from outside air.
